Kids book reviews: A sleepy story

Elizabeth Burrowes has provided us with a quick, easy to read bedtime story that will tire little ones out. This book features several animals including giraffes, ponies and field mice each preparing to listen to a bedtime story from their prospective mothers. The illustrations of the humanized animals in their adorable little pajamas will delight young kids who will find themselves relating to the animals. Concerning that, the illustrations featured fun little details unique to each of the animals that I think children will enjoy thoroughly. Moving on, the author ended the story on a sweet note, making all the animals fall asleep before even giving their mothers a chance to read them a bedtime story. Despite not being filled with exciting and thrilling adventures throughout the book, it does have a certain allure to it that is capable of calming children. In my opinion, this story was quite a reasonably enjoyable read, suitable for parents wanting to put their tired children to sleep.

Kids book reviews verdict: Highly recommended!
