What people usually write about
- Your account, or your data
- A copy of what we hold, a correction, a deletion, or closing the account altogether. We answer within a month and usually a great deal sooner.
- Using the stories somewhere else
- A nursery, a hospital ward, a childminder, a charity, a classroom. Ask — the answer is often yes, and it costs nothing to find out.
- Something is broken
- A story that will not play, a page that looks wrong, a name spelled badly. Tell us what you were doing when it happened and we will find it faster.
- The books
- Rights, translations, reading one aloud somewhere, or simply where to buy them. The five picture books are the source of everything here.
- Anything about a child’s safety
- Put SAFETY in the subject line and it goes to the top of the pile, ahead of everything else.
Talking to us properly
If an email will not do it — a nursery group, a partnership, anything that needs a real conversation — say so in the first line and we will find a time. A booking calendar is coming; until it is genuinely staffed it would be a page that promises a slot nobody is sitting in, and that is worse than no page at all.
Before you write
The parents’ page explains how the stories are built and how to read the markup aloud. The privacy policy lists exactly what we hold about a child — a first name, an age band, a picture and a place on the route — and the terms cover the rest. Most questions are answered on one of those three, and you will get your answer faster.
