The story of The Sleepy Waterfall
The Sleepy Waterfall is the hidden place. The rocks wrap right around one side of it — big rounded boulders in mauve and purple-grey, patched with moss — so the whole pocket feels private, like a room the hills made by accident and then kept quiet about. Down the high wall falls one tall, narrow ribbon of pale teal water, smooth and steady, the kind of sound you stop hearing and start floating on. In front of the pool lies a broad flat bank of bright green grass dotted with daisies — wide enough to sit on, then to lie on, which is the order things happen here — and a few golden fireflies drift low over it under a deep purple-violet sky. And at one side, quietly, the stream leaves. That is the secret of the place: it looks like somewhere the water ends, and it is actually somewhere the water is only just getting started.

Nothing from here has been published yet. The Sleepy Waterfall is still being filmed — the honest kind of gap, like the route’s “resident owed”.
