The story of Iguana Nirvana
Iguana Nirvana found his way to Mindful Meadows, sat down on a warm stone in the cross-legged way, closed his eyes — and discovered what he was for. His skin is magical. It glows, softly, from inside, and it drifts — deep violet into magenta into turquoise into warm coral, scattered with little glowing spots, shifting slowly like oil on water. And it answers to him, which is the part that matters: the calmer he is, the more he glows. Hurry him and the colours mutter; still him and they bloom. So stillness, for him, is not a discipline — it is how he shines, and the meditation sit is where he is most luminous of all. He is Chief Mindfulness’s steadiest pupil, out on the meadow where the Chief teaches, doing exactly what his name promises: nothing, beautifully, in every colour there is.
